Welcome! I'm November Christine (she/her/hers); a New York based writer, composer, and artist-activist. Growing up, I loved sci-fi novels, comic books, and historical fiction. But I rarely saw myself reflected in the protagonists of those harrowing tales. Perhaps that’s why I’m so passionate about telling women’s stories—particularly those of BIPOC and queer women. My female-centered storytelling challenges expectations by breaking the fourth wall of traditional theatre. For instance, my epistolary play IDA, invites the audience to become penpals with legendary anti-lynching activist Ida B. Wells. My latest project, an interactive digital “whodunnit“ called THE CHASTITY JONES MYSTERIES, engages the reader through clickable clues and integrated audiovisuals.
